Although, the seriousness is not needed, good dreams will always be beneficial to you. Many people suffer from recurring bad dream, which ruins their goodnights sleep and makes their life stressful. Here are some tips to have good dreams :
  1. To have a good dream, you need to have a good life. Positive things in a life will produce everything positive. Change your life patterns. Resolve your problems. This will give you good dream and peaceful sleep.
  2. Change your sleeping pattern and the environment in which you sleep. Sometimes these things also affect your dreams. Sleep on the place with softer lights and peaceful setting. This might help a lot.
  3. Make sure, the place where you sleep is peaceful. Off your Tv and music player before you sleep. The sound may also play vital role in what you dream.
  4. Try lucid dreaming. This will help you to control your dream. You can see and feel the things which you want with the help of lucid dreaming.
  5. Stay away from caffeine and nicotine, especially before bedtime.
  6. Avoid physical exercise up to four hours before bedtime. Daily exercise is beneficial to repair the dream, but can interfere with it if done too close to bedtime.
