Day 01: Delhi - Manali

Arrive in Delhi by Air or Train. After reaching in Delhi go to Minto Road, Gandhi Market, ( on your own) at 5:00 PM .At sharp 5:30 Depart from Delhi to Manali. Travel by overnight Volvo bus from Delhi to Manali (12 - 14 Hours). (Manali is also famous for adventure sports like skiing, hiking, mountaineering, paragliding, rafting, trekking, kayaking, and mountain biking. In short, Manali-is the "Valley of the Gods" and an ideal place for the ones in search of both adventure and comfort. Reach Manali next morning at 6 - 8 AM.

Day 02 : Manali Arrival (Local Sightseeing)

On arrival at Manali, our representative assists to transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Check in at the hotel, freshen up and enjoy leisure time at the comfort of your room. After Some time enjoy the city tour visiting to some of the prominent spots and attractions including Hadimba Devi Temple also called Dhungri Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery and Vashisth Village. After enjoying exciting tour of Manali city return back by afternoon and enjoy at your free will (reserved for leisure). Dinner and Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Manali.

Day 03 : Manali (Full day Trip to Rohtang Pass/ Snow Point )

Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel and later get ready for an excursion to visit Kothi Gorge, Marhi, Gulaba. Rothang Pass is outstandingly beautiful and is an ideal spot to view the majestic snow covered Himalayas, serene natural surroundings, pristine lake and fairy white snow round the year. Return back to the hotel on time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04 : Manali (Full Day Trip to Kullu( 45Kms) Manikaran ( 80Kms )

Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel and later get ready for an excursion to visit Manikaran. Manikaran has the World’s hottest Sulphur Spring Waters and is a holy place for Hindus & Sikhs alike. Return back to Kullu town enroute visiting the famous Kullu Shawl Industry. Drive back to Manali. Check in at the Hotel in Manali. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Manali.

Day 05 : Manali - Delhi Departure

Morning enjoy the breakfast and check out from the hotel at 12 noon (Luggage can be kept at reception or bell desk. Afternoon enjoys at leisure or can take stroll down the mall in Manali and enjoy shopping antiques, shawls and handicrafts. Evening catch the volvo from Manali at 4.00 PM to proceed Delhi. Day 01: Delhi - Shimla (380 kms/8/9hrs)

Travel by surface from Delhi to Shimla, Shimla: former summer capital of British India & now a capital of Himachal Pradesh, set amidst the snow capped shivalik mountain ranges offering some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas, it is surrounded by pine deodar, oak and rhododendron forests. Towards the north lie the snow-covered high-ranges, while the valleys breathe whispering streams and swaying fields. Shimla offers a variety of shopping, sport and entertainment activities. Arrive Shimla Check in to the Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure, evening enjoy at mall road. Later back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.

Day 02: Shimla -Kufri- Shimla (24 kms.)

After breakfast visit to half day city tour visiting Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple and Jakhu temple, Afternoon visit to excursion tour of Kufri. KUFRI: India's one of the best holiday paradise Kufri in Shimla is beautifully tucked on an altitude of 2,622 meter. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town –“THE MALL & THE RIDGE” This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. After breakfast check out from hotel ,drive to Manali, Manali : at the northern end of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, is a hill station situated at a height of 2050 m (6398 ft) in the Himalayas. Situated on the Beas river (Vyaas in Hindi) and near its source, it is a popular tourist spot for Indians in summer and a magical, snow-covered place in winter. A staging point for a number of treks (Beas Kund, Chandrakhani Pass) and sports such as white-water rafting, Manali is also on the road to Ladakh via the valley of Lahaul and Spiti and rohtang pass which is main attraction near Manali. Arrive at Manali and check in the hotel, Rest of the day is at leisure to visit the local markets overnight stay at hotel at Manali.

Day 04: Manali Local.

After breakfast visit to city tour. Visiting “HADIMBA TEMPLE” Built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. “CLUB HOUSE” The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day.” Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and “VASHIST” Well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama. Evening you can enjoy at mall road, later back to hotel. Free for leisure. Day 05: Manali-Rohtang Pass (Snow Point)

After early breakfast visit to excursion visiting Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass (Up to Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall) Carry warm clothes like hand gloves, muffler, sweater, shawl, socks & sports shoes etc. Enroute overcoats and shoes are available on hire. Please note that Rohtang Pass (altitude 3940 mts.) is actually 51 kms. Far from Manali, due to heavy snow covering the road, this pass is not accessible during heavy snow fall for Snow Point, and Sollang Valley. Later back to hotel. Evening free for leisure, overnight stay at hotel at Manali.

Day 06: Manali - Delhi

After breakfast check out from hotel, later drive to Delhi Arrive Delhi and transfer to Airport/ Railway Station for onward destination.

How to get chitwan national park

Every day tourist buses are available from kathmandu, pokhara, sunauli to chitwan. After completed 4-5 hours journey all the buses arrive at bus park place called bachhauli. It is also possible to take flight from kathmandu to bharatpur airport, duration of 25 minute which is 20 km away from main center.

From the 19th century, the valley was center for hunting trips by British and Nepali aristocrats. King George V and his son, the prince of wales, later Edward V3, never made it to kathmandu but they did fine time to slaughter wild in this forests. in 1911, they killed 39 tigers and 18 rhinos

Until the 1950s, the only settlements in the chitwan valley were scattered villages inhabited by people whose apparent immunity to malaria was rumoured to be the result of their heavy drinking. Malaria was largely controlled by liberal applications of DDT from 1954s. Land hungry people from the hills were quick to see the potential wealth of the region and much of the jungle was rapidly transformed in to farmland.

In 1973 the rhino population of chitwan was estimated to have fallen to only 100 and there were just 20 tiger left. This disastrous slide was halted when a sanctuary was established in 1964, although 22000 people were forcible removed from within its boundaries. The national park was proclaimed in 1973 and since that time the animal population has rebounded. A census conducted in 2000 found that chitwan contains 544 rhinos and an estimated 80 tiger quite. apart from 50 other soecies of mammals and over 450 different type of birds. now days the park offers one of the finest wildlife experience in Asia. You have to be extremely lucky to see one of its elusive tiger and leopards however an elephant safari is unforgettable and you are almost certain to see rhinos, various species of dear, monkey and other many different animals. the best time to visit chitwan national park is September and February when the average daily temperature is about 25 decree when ever you come you will need to pack insect repellent and pair of binoculars is invaluable. Entry fee is required RS 500 per day for foreign national visitors, RS 200 per day for SAARC nationals visitors and Rs 20 for Nepalese people.
Sauraha

Sauraha is just outside of the park on the northern bank of the rapti river. It lise 6km south of the tadi bazar. The setting is magnificent, even if much of the development is in appropriate and careless. it is a simple village that been overrun by a boom and bust of tourist industry. outside of the tourist enclave, however, there's still ample opportunity to observe rural life

Golden temple:-

some times it was known as the kwa bahal or suwarna mahavihara. This monastry is just north of durbar square. Legend relate that the monastery was founded in the 12th century. although the earliest record of its existence is 1509. from the street, a sign points to the monastery, entered through a doorway flanked by painted guardian lion figures, giving no hint of magnificent structure within. The large rectangular building has three roofs and a copper gilded facade. inside the shrine are images of the Buddha and avalo kiteshvara, a stairway leads up to the 1st floor, where monks will show you the various Tibetan style frescoes that illustrated the walls. The life of the Buddha illustrated in a frieze that you will see in front of the main shrine. The inner courtyard has a railed walkway around three sides. shoes and other leather articles most be removed if you leave the walkway and enter the inner courtyard in the center of the courtyard is a small, richly decorated temple with golden roof that has an extremely ornate

Patan durbar square:-

As in kathmandu, the ancient royal palace of patan faces on to a royal square and this concentrated mass of temples in undoubtedly the most visually stunning display of newari architecture to be seen in Nepal. The rectangular square has its longer axis running approximately north south and the palace from the eastern side of the square. A continuous row of temples in widely divers styles faces the palace on the western site.

Krishna temple:-

continuing in to the patan durbar square, the third temple you reach is the krishna temple which is dedicated to god krishna and was built by king siddhinarsingh malla. Record indicate that the temple was completed with the installation of the image on the 1st floor in 1637 with its b mughal influences, this stone temple is clearly of Indian design, unlike the nearby brick and timber, multi roofed newari temple. The 1st and second floor of the temple are made up of a line pavilions, from the top of which rises a shikhara style spire. Musicians can often be heard playing up stairs. Krishna is an incarnation of God Vishnu so the God's vehicle, the manbird garuda, neels with folded arms on top of a column facing the temple. The stone carvings alone the beam above the 1st floor pillars recount events of the Mahabharat, while on the 2nd floor here are scenes from the Ramayan. Non Hindus are not allowed inside.

Patan museum :-

Patan museum is one of the best museum. This is a part of the palace around keshav Narayan chock has been superbly renovated and house one of the subcontinent's finest museums. entrance fee are require RS 250 for foreign nationals tourist, Rs 50 for SAARC countries visitors. The main feature of the museum is an outstanding collection of cast bronze and gilt-copper work. Mostly of Hindu and Buddhist deities . There are some fascinating photo of patan at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Rato Machhendranath temple:-

South of durbar square on the western side of the road, is the rato machhendranath temple. Rato machhendranath, the God of rain and plenty, comes in variety of incarnations. To Buddhists he is the tantric edition of avalokiteshvara, while to Hindu he is another version of God Shiva. standing in a large courtyard, the three storey temple dates from 1673, although an earlier temple may have existed on the site since 1408. Occurring on a 12 years cycle the procession continues out of patan to the village of Bungmati, 5 km to the south. Dragging the heavy chariot along this Bumpy

Zoo:-

Nepal's only one zoo is in the southwestern part of patan. Just north of Jwalakhel. it includes a reasonably extensive collection of Nepali wildlife, Including Rhinos, tiger, leopards, monkeys and birds. while it is a another depressing animal prison.

GODAVARI:

Situated at the foothills of Pulchowki, this place has splendid natural beauty. The road from Patan city runs to Godavari to the southeast, passing through the small, old towns of Harisiddhi, Thaiba, and Badegaon. A holy place in Nepal, it is also a good picnic spot amid dense forests. It is the site of the only Royal Botanical Garden in Nepal. A fish hatchery and a marble quarry also are located here.

PULCHOWKI:

Located around ten kilometers southeast of Patan, this mountain, 2759 meters high, is a good spot for hiking. Rhododendrons of different varieties and colors from pure white to dark red are found here. A Buddhist shrine is situated on the top of the hill which can be reached via a motorable road.

Nagarkot to sankhu Travel:-

From nagarkot a dirt road goes to sankhu through katike village then take a left edge of down for more interesting walk take minor road that turn off sharply to the right down Nagarkot to changu narayan temple:- walking down to changu narayan is more interesting then to walk bhaktapur from nagarkot. its very easy to see the long spur of kathmandu valley. The changu narayan beautiful temple is on the top of this bump on the ridge line. the walking trail from nagarkot parallels the road to bhaktapur along a ridge, take the climbs up hill through a pine forest for about 20 minutes to reach until top of the ridge and then follow the ridge line then down to changu narayan. The shining roof of the chang unarayan appears above the village of changeu itself, from where sone paved street leads to the temple.

Nagarkot to sundarijal:-

from nagarkot it takes 2 days to reach sundarijal following the valley rim. From sundarijal can walk to gokarna, bodhnath. then kathmandu and also possible to continues to shivapuri the buddhanilkanth. The trail follows through the village of kattike then turns right to jorsim pauwa then down through baag dhara to chowki bhanjyang. from chowki bhanjyang one hour walk to bhotichour then walk return to chowki bhanjyang then goes to chautara then goes to mulkharka then sundarijal.

Nagarkot to banepa:-

The town of banepa is 29km far from kathmandu valley and its main town on the way to dhulikhel on the arniko highway. From nagarkot start the walk near the look out tower at the southern part of the ridge and follow a steep descent to the southeast. The trail pass through nala with interesting temple then reach to banepa and then by bus back to kathmandu

Dhulikhel:-

Dhulikhel is another interesting place. It is just 32km far from kathmandu. it is popular as a Himalaya view point. Dhulikhel is also good center for short day trekking. Many visitors goes there to stretch their legs before setting for longer treks. Better view can be found from hill by kali temple, 30 minuets walk along the namobuddha

Bhaktapur durbar square:-

Bhaktapur's durbar square is much larger then kathmandu's, much less crowded with temple then patan's and less vibrant then either. it sit in the west of bhaktapur

Erotic elephant temple:-

just before you enter the bhaktapur durbar square, pause for a little bit newari humour, on right, about 70m before the main durbar square entrance gate, is tiny double roofed shiva and parvati temple with some erotic carving on its temple struts. There are copulating animal's including elephant in the missionary position. it is the erotic elephant temple

King bhupatindra mall's column :-

king bhupatindra malla was the best known of malla kings of bhaktapur and had great influence of the art and architecture of the town. Like the similar column in patan's durbar square. This column is copy of original in kathmandu. The king sits with folded arms, studding the magnificent golden gate to his palace.

Ugrachandi bhairab statues:-

When enter the durbar square from the west passing by an entry gate we can see two large stone lines built by king bhupatindra malla. on the northern wall are statues of the terrible bhairab and equally terrible ugrachandi durga. The fearsome manifestation of shiva's consort parvati. The statues built date is 1701. Ugrachandi has 18 arms holding various tantric weapons and symbols. She is in the act of casually killing a demon with a trident. Bhairab has 12 arms. both god and goddess are garlanded with necklaces of human heads

Batsala durga temple and talaje bell:-

Beside the king's statue and directly in front of the royal palace is the stone vatsala durga temple which was built by king jagat parkash malla in 1672. The shikhara style temple has some similarities to the krishna temple in patan. infront of the temple there is big taleju bell which was erected by king jaya malla in 1737

Bhaktapur Royal Palace:-

Bhaktapure's royal palace was founded by yaksha malla and was added to by successive kings, Particularly bhupatindra mall as with the old palace of kathmandu and patan.

National art gallery:-

The western end of the palace has been made in to at art gallery. The entrance to the is flanked by figures of hanuman the monkey god and god vishnu as narayan, his man lion incarnation. these guardian figures date from 1698 and hanuman appears in tantric from as the four armed hanumab bhairab. The gallery has a collection of Hindu and Buddhist paintings, palm, leaf manuscripts, thankas and metal, stone and wood crafts. it is the best of the town's three museums.

Golden get and 55 window palace:-

Adjoining the gallery, the magnificent golden gate is the entrance to the 55 window palace. The golden gate is generally agreed to be the most important piece of art in the whole valley. The gate and 55 window palace were built by king Bhupatindra malla but were not completed until 1754 during the reign of ranjit malla.
