9-year-old Boy catches monster sturgeon in Canada
Kegan Rothman, a 9-year-old boy from New Jersey, U.S., was on a fishing trip with his dad on Monday when he wrangled himself a 272-kilogram, three-metre (600 pound, 10 foot) long Great White Sturgeon.
Kegan and his father caught the beast on the Canada's Fraser River near Chilliwack, British Columbia. He fought the fish down the river for an hour and 45 minutes. He said, “it’s the most excitement I’ve ever had with a fish. It was so hard to hold onto the rod. I thought the fish was going to pull me into the water.”
After the video was posted on YouTube on Wednesday, it has already gathered nearly 90,000 views. (Jessica)
