A meeting held today under the chairmanship of Mr. Tulsi Prasad Gautam, Director General of Department of Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation in regard to facilitate tourists and their families by gathering information about tourists who are missing, dead and injured in the earthquake that took place on April 25, 2015, in the presence of stakeholders of tourism industry decided to form Tourist Information Coordination Center under the coordinatorship of Mr. Tulsi Prasad Gautam, Director General of Department of Tourism with the representative from Nepal Tourism Board, Tourist Police, Department of Immigration, Trekking Agents Association of Nepal, Nepal Mountaineering Association, Nepal Association of Tour and Trekking Agents, Hotel Association Nepal and has started working from today. This Center will collection the information about the present situation of foreign tourists who are in Nepal and will coordinate with other agencies for rescue as per requirement.
It is to inform all to contact following persons to get the information about the situation of foreign tourists who are affected by the earthquake.
