How to prevent dry sockets??? If you have been wondering on this, then here are some of the tips:
- Make certain that you follow the post extraction or post surgical instructions.
- Uphold proper dental hygiene so as to avert food lodging in the tooth extraction site.
- Eat a cold or liquid diet for 24 hours after the removal.
- Stay away from spitting. Do not spit until after 24 hours of extraction.
- Do not try touching the wound with your fingers or tongue.
- Do warm saline rinses after 3rd day of pulling out.
- Strictly keep away from the use of tobacco/tobacco products after tooth extraction.
