5 Foods To Avoid During Diarrhea
Eating correctly is very important during diarrhea. So, you have to know that there are a certain number of things that you should really avoid during diarrhea. These foods sometimes can cause diarrhea if taken in the wrong amount and most of the times, if your diarrhea is not that severe, eating these kinds of foods can get it worse for you. Here’s a list of 5 Foods To Avoid During Diarrhea:

Foods with fat

Fried, greasy, creamy or food with gravy is not really a good choice if you’re having diarrhea. Fatty foods can make your diarrhea worse by contracting your intestines. This gives a hard reaction to your already suffering digesting system. So, avoid fatty foods.

Dairy products

Dairy products like butter, cheese, ice cream, milk etc. should be avoided in diarrhea. However, there’s an exception, you can eat yoghurt. Yoghurt helps lessen your diarrhea but the other products simply enhance your disease.

Some beverages

Do not drink any beverages that contain caffeine in it. Also stay away from alcohol and drinks are carbonated. Until the digestive system get backs to normal, letting these drinks a bit far would be beneficial.

Gas-producing foods

This includes vegetables like beans, cabbage, onions, broccoli, peas, etc. should be avoided during diarrhea. Consumption of gas containing food leads to further diarrhea.
