5 Foods To Eat During Diarrhea
Diarrhea can be caused by anything. We eat something wrong, the weather or the environment is not suiting us, we are sick with the smell of something; the reason can be anything. What diarrhea does is, it takes all your energy out to the toilet every time you visit it. It’s because of the same reason, we need to eat enough to keep supplying our body with needed energy. Eating right things with in right amount is very necessary. Eating correctly doesn’t only help us regain the lost energy but it helps stop diarrhea too. So, here’s a list of 5 foods to eat during diarrhea:

Bananas

Bananas contain elements like pectin, soluble fiber which helps to run stool smoothly by absorbing liquid in the intestines. Another element is Inulin, another soluble fiber which helps grow beneficial bacteria in the intestinal system. Moreover, bananas contain a good level of potassium which helps regain energy by replacing electrolytes and thus it helps our digestive system.

Rice and Potatoes

Eating white rice and mashed potatoes in diarrhea is really beneficial. Just do not add any fat in it by cooking with butter or excessive oil. This may lead you to a worse situation. Rice and Potatoes are diets that contain low-fiber and hence are advantageous in getting relieved from diarrhea

Applesauce

Apples also contain pectin. But to get this and other beneficial elements in apple you’ll have to cook it. It not only helps you get sugar and other nutrients but helps also in digesting these elements.

Whole-grain products are always in list of the suggested diet by the experts. However, in diarrhea you will not be able to digest it easily. So, going with the wheat made foods.
