Dhulikhel

This ancient town is situated 30km east of Kathmandu city on side of Araniko highway. It is a lovely place famous for its scenic beauty and old traditional. From here, one can have a complete panoramic view of snowy ranges from Karyolung in the east to Himalchuli in the west. There is situated a temple of Lord Vishnu, the temple of Timal Narayan at the altitude of 2134m which can be reached from Dhulikhel by a short trek. a beautiful views of Gaurishanker Himal. And other peaks as well as Sunkoshi and Roahi river can be seen from these place.
