Daman is situated about 80 km south west of Kathmandu at an altitude about 2400 . above sea level. It is located on the Tribhuvan Highway. This place is famous for the panoramic view of the snowy mountains. The major peaks, that can be clearly seen from here Mt. Everest, Annapurna III, Phurbi, Chyachu, Choba, Gaurishanker etc. There is a view tower in Daman Fitted with long rang telescopes. Simple overnight accommodations are available in Daman.
