Sep 15, 2015- A meeting of the Constituent Assembly (CA) on Tuesday unanimously passed the proposal on finalising the date for the promulgation of the Revised Bill of the Draft Constitution of Nepal-2072 for September 20.
A proposal on determining the date for the announcement of the Constitution of Nepal before the Nepali people was tabled at the CA meeting on behalf of the three major parties- the Nepali Congress, the CPN (UML) and the UCPN (Maoist).
Chief Whip of the Nepali Congress Chin Kaji Shrestha put forth the proposal seconded by the CPN (UML) Chief Whip Agni Prasad Kharel and the UCPN (Maoist) Chief Whip Giriraj Mani Pokharel.
Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subas Nembang this morning extended official invitation to President Ram Baran Yadav for his presence in the constitution promulgation ceremony to be organised at the Constituent Assembly building at 5 pm on September 20.
