KATHMANDU: Life Automobiles, sole authorised distributor of Italian automobile giant Fiat, launched its much-awaited contemporary urban vehicle (CUV) — Avventura amidst a function at Soaltee Crowne Plaza on August 2. A new breed of automotive excellence Fiat Avventura is embedded with best-in-class features.
“Fiat Avventura offers a pleasant experience both in city drive and on an off-road journey,” said Suraj Manandhar, Chief General Manager of Life Automobiles. “We have come up with aggressively competitive pricing for this CUV and so it will be competing with premium hatchbacks, crossovers and compact SUVs,” he said, adding that the blend of power, performance and style are unique selling propositions of the CUV.
Citing that they have already supplied some two dozen units of the CUV in the Nepali market, Manandhar said, “With this model, we aim to occupy at least 10 per cent share of the overall SUV market.” According to him, the price of the CUV ranges from Rs 2.995 million to Rs 4.095 million. Available in two engine variants — 1.4 litre fully integrated robotised engine (FIRE) petrol engine and 1.3 litre multi-jet turbocharged diesel engine, the CUV comes in three variants

Adventurous on rough road, Avventura is loaded with numerous off-road features like — inclino-metre censor that lets you know the tilt and bends of the car in erratic terrains while the compass ensures the direction heading towards.
An impressive ground clearance of 205 mm coupled with 205 mm flat tyres with hard grip avoids skid on muddy and slippery roads.
Similarly, Avventura is equally sporty for a city drive. The 16-inch sporty alloy wheels, functional roof rails for cladding adventure gears, stylish rear-mounted spare tyre, dual tone bumpers, stylish housing surrounded fog lamps, sporty spoiler stylish exterior; all contributes to make it look sporty.
The dual airbags, fire prevention system, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) ensures safety measures of the CUV. Meanwhile, smart airbags with early crash sensors detects a crash then activate the airbags and restraints at the exact moment to avoid any unwanted incident.
