Patan museum back to service

LALITPUR: The Patan Museum that had remained closed since the April 25 Gorkha earthquake has come into operation. The Museum was open to visitors from Friday evening.

Though the Patan durbar square, where the museum is located, opened for visitors a week ago the opening of the museum had to be delayed as the building required some maintenance, said the museum’s Information Officer Suresh Man Lakhe.

Now, the visitors can take a tour of the museum without any concerned as all risks have been mitigated, he said.
