Addressing the gathering Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Kripasur Sherpa said that many of trekking trails are safe and requested the media to convey the same. Secretary of Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Sureshman Shrestha said that Nepal is now preparing to open damaged heritage sites partially for tourists from June 15, 2015. Hundred of people related with tourism attended the function.

On the occasion, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation announced the name of 18 reputed mountaineers as the Hononary Goodwill Ambassadors which include Peter Hillary, Jamling Sherpa, Tashi Tenzing Sherpa, Junko Tabei, Reinhold Messner.
