Tips to Avoid Nightmares
NEPAL TRAVEL BOOK, KATHMANDU, Nightmares ruins your good night sleep. Most of the time people try not to fall asleep in order to avoid nightmare. Well, that is a very bad idea and not a proper solution. Here are some tips to avoid nightmares.
  1. Relax before going to take a sleep. Nightmares sometimes occur due to the stress before sleep. Mild exercise or hot bath might help you fall asleep without nightmares.
  2. Do not take the next day’s tension before sleeping. Leave the tensions for tomorrow to be solved.
  3. Avoid watching horror or any graphic violence movie before you go to sleep.
  4. Eat a light snack such as milk or yogurt. Both hold calcium and tryptophan, which can have a calming result.
  5. Talk to someone about your nightmare. The talking might help you to get some logical facts beyond the nightmare.
  6. Avoid fatty and spicy foods before sleep. Consuming these foods before bed can cause abdominal expand and abdominal pain. This of course does not make you feel at ease when sleeping. The consequence may be that you’ll have nightmares.
