Tea vs. Coffee |
Many of us love tea, and many love coffee and there are still many who love both and who doesn’t love any. Now, after reading this post, I believe at least a few will change their choice of beverage. Here comes Tea vs. Coffee compared within different categories.
Healthier
Both have their own advantages. Those who drink coffee four times a day have 30 percent less chances of having type-2 diabetes than non-drinkers. And, another benefit with coffee drinkers is that they are 9 percent less likely to have skin cancer too. Now, coming to tea, it has its own benefits too. Green tea is believed to repair weak immune system as it has EGCG. EGCG is an antioxidant that recharges the white blood cells and this prevents viruses from reactivating. Green Tea is also found good for preventing Prostate Cancer.
Energy Boost
Caffeine is one of the best ways to boost your energy which takes just about 10 minutes for our body to feel it. It’s because of the hormones that caffeine release, we remain active. It boosts our heart rate as well as blood pressure. So, what is more effective to jerk you from your passiveness? We say coffee. When compared between 8 cups of tea and same amount of coffee, tea was found to give only 14 to 61 mg of caffeine while coffee is capable of providing 95 mg caffeine.
Weight Loss
Caffeine is also beneficial for those who want to lose some weight. Compared to coffee, Green Tea is supposed to help more in this context. Green Tea if drank regularly, can lead to a decrease of an inch fin your waistline in 12 weeks. It’s again because of the EGCG and caffeine that helps shrinks fat cells and makes your muscle cells active.
Muscle Gain
Tea is good for losing fat, no doubt but when it comes to building some muscles, you want to go for coffee. A research has proved that with coffee before your workout, gives you more stamina, and stimulates your muscles by 9 percent. This leads to more power with which you will be doing more reps.
