133 Nepali families have migrated to India after the 7.9-magnitude earthquake

133 Nepali families have migrated to India after the 7.9-magnitude earthquake
According to our the surveillance centres operated along the border with India in Ilam, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Banke, Nawalparasi and Rupandehi districts, v rattled 39 of the mountainous nation`s 75 districts.
Children and Women are at a high risks of being trafficked to India, since most of the families affected by the earthquake are migrating to India.
Maiti Nepal's Border Surveillance Team of Kanchanpur, Mahendranagar has just intercepted 5 girls who were on the verge of being trafficked. According to the girls they were being taken to Punjab, India with the promise of a better job and a better life. Their families had been hit hard by the earthquake. They've been brought to Maiti's headquarters and will be re integrated to their families.
