Temple of Kumari (Kumari Ghar)
Kumari is the virgin living goddess of Hindu religion, who for instance, is selected from Buddhist clan. She should possess some specialities like coming from Newari Shakya family, a virgin with no body marks or injuries, when she attends puberty, she is replaced by another Kumari.

The temple or the residence of Kumari is situated in the vicinity of Hanumandhoka Durbar. The building has profusely carved wooden balconies and window screens. It was built by Jaya Prakash Malla, the courtyard, but not beyond that. And photography is prohibited.
