4 aftershocks recorded in two hours
KATHMANDU, JUN 17 - Four aftershocks over magnitude 4, two among them over magnitude 5, on Richter scale were recorded inside two hours on Wednesday morning.

National Seismological Center, in its website, informed that the first tremor struck at 5:58 am and was a magnitude 4.4 with its epicenter in Kathmandu district. Around fifteen minutes later, another, this time a comparatively powerful than the first one, was felt at 6:14 am. The second one was a 5.2 magnitude with epicenter at Sindhupalchok district.

Another aftershock of magnitude 4.0 was felt at 6:26 am while the last of the four tremors was recorded at 8 am, a 5.1 magnitude. The epicenter of the last two aftershocks was at Sindhupalchok district.
