The recent series of acid attacks to girls in broad day light within the capital is not only condemnable act but also a depiction of the loose security mechanism of the government. If we do not speak out, this sort of misdeed can replicate in other places and proliferate as a culture of violence all over. In this context, a protest is an essential step to end this culture of violence and to ask government to take necessary measures before it is too late.
We would also like to thank all our supporters and well wishers who participated in the protest at such a short notice.
