Switch Your Starch
Most of the starches like potatoes, corn, pasta, wheat, etc. are very well known foods if you want a bloated belly. It’s because they produce gas and are broken down in the large intestine. No Dairy Products
This one is not for everyone but indeed, for most. Dairy products cause digestive issues like gas, BLOATING, cramping, and diarrhea. This happens due to a weak digestive system or our body’s inability of breaking down the lactose. So, go for lower-lactose foods like hard cheese or yogurt. Or even better, completely abandon dairy products that contain lactose. You can always switch to rice milk or coconut milk.
Choose Your Fruits
Not all the fruits are good for your belly. Meaning, fruits can cause you a swollen belly. Fruits with more fructose than glucose should be left alone. This includes foods like honeydew, apples, and pears. You can go for fruits that contain just about equal proportion of sugars fructose and glucose. This includes berries, grapes, citrus, etc. Canned fruits and dry fruits can also be eaten.
Exercise, of course
Keep moving. After every meal take a walk or cycle around. This helps digestion by stimulating contractions of the intestinal muscles preventing gas. Not only after meals but whenever you can, do some mild physical work out. Go to the gym if possible and help yourself get rid of your bloated belly.
