Nepal Bags Best Decoration Award at Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF), Bangalore
Nepal Tourism Board has participated in Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF), India’s largest travel trade show held at Dr. Prabhakar Core Convention Center, Bangalore, India from 16-18 January 2015. TTF- 2015, Bangalore inaugurated by Mr. Dinesh Danai, Minister of Tourism, Uttarakhand, India, gave platform for travel trade and public visitors to make business contacts and networking, sell and buy new travel packages and explore new travelling opportunities.


During the three day show, Nepalese travel trade companies participating in the fair had an opportunity to sell their tour packages, explore new business opportunities, establish new business contacts and renew old ones. South Indian people and travel trade visitors at Nepal stand mostly inquired for customized pilgrimage tour packages. Nepal stand was well decorated with various tourism attractions of Nepal focusing especially pilgrimage sites of Nepal during the show. With the beauty of the Nepal stall, Nepal has been honored with best decoration award at the show.

Bangalore being the economic and commercial hub of South India has immense outbound potential to Nepal. Direct flight connectivity from Bangalore to Kathmandu is necessary to connect entire South India to Nepal so as to further boost tourist arrivals from the region to Nepal.

Nepalese travel trade delegation comprised of eight tourism companies from Nepal namely: Ojha Holidays Tours and treks Pvt. Ltd, Exotic Destination Nepal Tours & Treks Pvt. Ltd., Adventure Himalaya Travel, Kathmandu Holiday Tours & Travel Pvt. Ltd, Eco Trek International, Samrat Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd., Heritage Tours & Travels, Rugged Trails Nepal Pvt. Ltd.

The Nepalese tourism delegation was led by Mr.Tek Narayan Poudel, Under Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation.
