National Museum

It is located to the south of Swayambhunath, near the army barrack. The National Museum has a splendid collection of weapons, artefacts from ancient, medival and modern Nepal. Its archaeological and historic displays are worth seeing. The museum is open everyday except tuesdays and Government holidays.
